Andy Pilgrim is more than knowledgeable about the hazards of the road.
Pilgrim, a professional race car driver for more than 20 years, visited
drivers education classes all day Tuesday at Hinsdale Central High
School to that information with students so that they might avoid
future accidents.
"A lot of the accidents that teenagers get in are completely and utterly avoidable," Pilgrim said.

Illinois Senate Republicans voted by secret ballot to name Sen. Christine Radogno, whose district includes portions of La Grange, Western Springs and Burr Ridge, as their leader during a closed-door session Wednesday night. She beat out Sen.
